Jane was born 18 April 1961 in Ilford, UK. Young Leeves worked as a model, until she made her very first movie appearance in Monty Python’s The Meaning of Life. She definitely kept her model-like figure through her career and stayed in shape although she gave birth to two kids (in 2001 and 2003). Jane married Marshall Coben in 1996 and they are still together. One of her most famous roles is Daphne Moon on TV series Frasier. In 2014, she plays Joy Scroggs on Hot in Cleveland.
Career
Jane Leeves first appeared in 1981, in a TV film “Nice to See You.” After this, in 1983, she appeared in a British musical sketch comedy film “Monty Python the Meaning of Life,” “The Benny Hill Show” as Hill’s angel and in an erotic horror film “The Hunger.” The following year, she was cast in the syndicated comedy “Throb.” In the 1985 film “To Live and Die in L.A.,” she played a role as a lesbian avant-garde dancer. From 1989 until 1993, she played the role of Audrey Cohen in the sitcom “Murphy Brown.”
Personal Life
Since 1996, Leeves has been married to CBS Paramount Television executive Marshall Coben. They have two children; a daughter named Isabella Kathryn (born 9 January 2001) and a son Finn William (born 19 December 2003). The popular show “Frasier” was about her real-life pregnancy with daughter, showing weight gaining problem for her character.
