She applied the first gear to her acting career way back in 1994 when she worked for a small role in a series called ‘Lois & Clark’, and later got called for another role in a movie ‘Till The End Of The Night.’ She then joined the professional field in 1996 after working in the series ‘Boston Common’. This brought a major breakthrough in her career as an actress. Traylor appeared for 32 continuous episodes of that series and received major appreciation.
